CPB Annual Financial Report
Every public television recipient of a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) is required to provide to a financial summary for the previous completed fiscal year.
IRS Form 990
An informational tax form that most tax-exempt organizations must file annually with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The form gives the IRS an overview of the organization’s activities, governance and detailed financial information.

CPB Employment Statistical Report
Every public television recipient of a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) is required to certify to CPB that they comply with the FCC regulations concerning Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
FCC Equal Employment Opportunity Report
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) rules and policies for radio and TV broadcasters. The rules prohibit discrimination in hiring on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or gender. The EEO rules require broadcasters employing five or more full-time employees to maintain an EEO recruitment program.
Public Media Code of Integrity
Public broadcasters have adopted shared principles to strengthen the trust and integrity that communities expect of valued public service institutions. These standards of integrity apply to all the content public media organizations produce and present, regardless of subject matter.

For the 18th consecutive year, the American public has rated PBS and its member stations the most trustworthy institution among nationally-known organizations and an excellent use of tax dollars.
CPB Local Content & Service Report
Every public television recipient of a CPB grant is required to provide to its community an annual report on its content and services that serve local needs, including information about the impact of such services.
FCC Public File
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requires each television licensee to maintain a public file, which contains a variety of information about each station’s operations and service to its community of license, including information quarterly lists of the most significant programs the station aired concerning issues of importance to its community, data on ownership of the station and active applications the station has filed with the Commission.
Open Meeting Policies and Dates
All Board, Committee, and Community Advisory Board meetings are open to the public and are held at the ValleyPBS offices located at 1544 Van Ness Avenue, Fresno, CA 93721 unless otherwise posted.
Copies of the minutes of all open meetings are available to the public at the Valley PBS office or by mail upon request. A reasonable charge to cover copying or postage may be considered for mailing. If a member of the public wishes to inspect the minutes at the station, please request an appointment by emailing web@valleypbs.org
Filing License Renewal Announcement
On August 1, 2022, Valley Public Television, Inc., licensee of K18HD-D, Channel 18, Bakersfield, California, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission for License Renewal.
