Randy Viger
For over thirty years, Randy has painted outdoors on location, immersed in the changing light of the California landscape. His work is a continuous exploration of the region he calls home, capturing everything from quiet Central Valley agricultural fields to rugged coastal vistas and soaring Sierra peaks.
Painting with an impressionist sensibility inspired by Van Gogh, Randy’s signature style features sweeping, heavy brushwork and confident palette knife application. His heavily layered impasto oil paintings emphasize rich texture, vivid color, and the spontaneous energy of working directly in the open air.
Marilyn Torchin
The goal of my work is to assimilate my everyday experiences with the physical world into a form of art that I call abstract-realism. The artististic nature of the physical world combined with my love of paint and color has allowed me to create the work you see. Over the year, I have developed special techniques to bring saturated colors, depth and contrast to the images that are created. I continually try to challenge myself to create paintings that capture my imagination and creativity and hopefully inspire anyone who happens to gaze at them whether in a home or at a work place.
Rudy Vargas
Rudy Vargas is an artist based in the San Joaquin Valley. With over fifty years of acrylic painting experience he has created a unique style that is rich in color.
Jim Morris
Jim Morris is also based in the San Joaquin Valley. His unique artistic process is majorly inspired through AI generated images, however, all of his pieces remain hand painted.
PAST FEATURES
We were proud to showcase artwork created by talented students from the Fresno Unified School District. Their creativity, dedication, and unique artistic perspectives were on full display, highlighting the incredible work being produced by young artists throughout our community. It was an honor to provide a space where their achievements could be celebrated and shared with the public.
