⭐ Shining Stars ⭐
⭐ This month’s Stars, is the Hernandez family from Clovis! Meet parents Maria and Joel, and their two energetic explorers: 8-year-old Sofia and 6-year-old Luna.
The Hernandez crew loves starting their Saturdays with pancakes and PBS Kids, especially “Wild Kratts” and “Work It Out Wombats!” The kids recently created their own backyard “nature lab,” inspired by the shows — complete with hand-painted bug hotels and a homemade birdwatching guide!
Maria says, “Family Circle has given us fun activity ideas we can do together every weekend. It’s become part of our routine — and the kids look forward to it just as much as cartoons!”

Past Shining Stars
Meet mom Angela and her 4-year-old son Mateo, a curious and creative boy who loves exploring the world in his own unique way.
Mateo’s favorite PBS Kids shows are “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” and “Odd Squad”. Inspired by the problem-solving adventures on screen, Mateo recently built his own “science station” at home — complete with magnifying glasses, colorful charts, and a notebook for his discoveries.
Angela says, “PBS gives us stories and lessons we can talk about together. Mateo gets so excited when he connects something he’s seen in a show to something in real life — it’s like watching a lightbulb turn on.”
⭐ Keep exploring, Rivera family! ⭐
Meet parents Hannah and Ryan, their energetic boys — 5-year-old Liam and 2-year-old Noah — and their imaginative big sister, 8-year-old Emma.
The Millers love starting their weekends with “Sesame Street” and “Work It Out Wombats!”. Inspired by the shows, the kids recently created a “backyard adventure park” complete with a sandbox construction site, painted hopscotch path, and a small flower garden Emma proudly cares for.
Hannah says, “PBS Kids inspires so many activities that bring the three of them together. Even Noah joins in — he’s our little dance partner during the songs!”
⭐ Keep smiling, Miller family! ⭐
Meet mom Jessica and her two bright and spirited daughters — 11-year-old Lily and 7-year-old Grace.
The Parker trio loves cozy Saturday mornings with “Molly of Denali” and “Pinkalicious & Peterrific.” Inspired by the shows, Lily and Grace recently started a “sister art club” in their living room, complete with homemade friendship bracelets, painted birdhouses, and colorful drawings they hang up to make a rotating “home gallery.”
Jessica says, “PBS Kids gives us activities we can all enjoy, no matter our age. It’s become our special time together — creating, laughing, and learning.”
⭐ Keep shining, Parker family! ⭐
Meet parents Sarah and David with their two little stars — 3-year-old Jack and 1-year-old Emma.
The Thompson family’s favorite time of day is their morning “PBS Kids cuddle hour.” Jack dances to the music with his favorite stuffed bunny, while Emma claps along from her high chair, giggling at her big brother’s moves.
Sarah says, “PBS Kids gives us a way to connect as a family — whether it’s learning, laughing, or just enjoying those precious quiet moments together.”
