FOGGY DAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE
Thick San Joaquin Valley fog severely limits visibility and is dangerous for Valley drivers. To ensure the safety of Valley parents and children, school and school districts frequently choose to begin class later on these mornings filled with dense fog. This is what’s known as a Foggy Day School Schedule.
Each school will designate a series of foggy day school schedule plans to share with parents and caregivers. These plans, frequently named “Plan A,” “Plan B” and “Plan C,” will have unique delay instructions. The list of foggy day school schedule plans are provided by schools and school districts at the beginning of each year to students and parents.
Valley PBS is proud to offer the fully-automated Foggy Day Service to San Joaquin Valley schools and school districts throughout the counties of Fresno, Madera, Kings and Tulare.
The Foggy Day Service serves more than 70 Valley schools providing live foggy day school schedule updates on-air, online and now on your mobile device.
