America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) is the local One-Stop Center within the County of Kern which serves as the recruitment and training center for local employers and job seekers. AJCC provides basic training courses and also partners with Employers’ Training Resource (ETR) for more in-depth training courses. Our many services include:
Assisting job seekers: providing no-cost training, job placement services and other job-hunting resources. Including veteran programs.
Assisting employers: providing applicant recruitment and screening as well as a variety of other services.
Assisting youth: providing no-cost training as well as other resources.
Military Child Education Coalition mission is: To ensure inclusive, quality educational opportunities for all military and veteran-connected children affected by mobility, transition, and family separation. Troops to College is the CSU system’s veteran’s initiative founded in 2006. At each of the 23 campuses there is a veteran’s coordinator dedicated to certifying Veterans Administration educational benefits.
