Join us for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Visalia, Saturday March 16th at 10 am. We are looking for fun and interesting participants for the parade. Entry fee is $25 before March 11th and accepting late entries also with entry fee at $35. For more information to be an entry in the parade or to sponsor this event please go to www.VisaliaBreakfastLions.org.
Also the Visalia Breakfast Lions (VBL) very excited to announce our 2019 Grand Marshal Marybeth Lyles-Porter Higuera. Marybeth has been a huge supporter of many Visalia non-profits and has served on several local boards. We welcome her to the St. Patrick’s Grand Marshal Club. Congratulations Marybeth!
The VBL are happy to offer 5 school bands $500 each to participate in the annual parade where the Band members can have fun in the spirit of the parade. This is possible because of our Parade band sponsors, please consider being a band sponsor.
The 2019 St. Patrick’s Day parade will step off on Main St. at Church and will travel west to Willis and head north, the parade will disband in front of the Vintage Press. So find a comfortable spot and line the main street of Downtown Visalia. Wear your green bold and proud as we are all Irish today.
Again this year we will have The Visalia Towne Trolley traveling a special route from 1pm to 5pm for the Irish Fest. It will be running from downtown Visalia, at several stops, to the Rawhide Stadium, so park your car in one of the many parking structures and hop on the trolley and head to the Irish Fest at the ballpark, or just take a free Trolley ride and enjoy the many fun and exciting things that will be going on all day downtown Visalia. Lots of music and great food everywhere!
We thank our major sponsors A & W Restaurants, The Southern Pacific Depot, The Vintage Press Restaurant, Jack & Charlie’s, Le Boulevard, Citizens Business Bank, and Budweiser, the King of beers and their support of so many community events.
Enjoy the day!
