December 17th & 18th: Winter Wonderland @ Storyland

Valley PBS, with support from Learn for Life and First 5 California, is happy to present our 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland at Storyland on December 17th and 18th, 2022. Winter Wonderland will provide an opportunity for families to experience a magical day filled with fun!

  • With your admission, you and your family will get a chance to meet PBS’s beloved monkey, Curious George!
  • Sit with Santa and Mrs Claus and take a free photo!
  • Over 30 TONS of snow will make a winter playground and a fabulous sledding hill!
  • Live music from Fresno Music Academy and Arts and Children's Musical Theaterworks!
  • This will be a family-friendly outdoor event, complete with opportunities to make crafts and visit our holiday vendors!

Storyland gates will open at 9:00AM and the event runs through 5:00PM on December 17th and 18th, 2022.

Families will be able to take free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Meet PBS’s favorite monkey, Curious George. Based on the popular children’s book, Curious George has been a top show since its premiere, both on-air and streaming.

Live Music Performances from FMAA and CMT and Reptile Ron will showcase some amazing animals in the Daniel R Martin Children’s Theater!

$12 Advanced tickets are available now!

Ticket are $15 for Saturday, December 18 & Sunday, December 19 when you purchase tickets on day of event.

Tickets are required for all participants attending Winter Wonderland. Children under the age of 1 are free. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.

All tickets are non-refundable.

In the event of bad or inclement weather, the Winter Wonderland at Storyland event may be postponed to a later date.

For generations, Storyland inspired a love of learning and make-believe. In 1962, seven years after Fresno’s Playland opened it’s gates, Storyland welcomed children into a storybook wonderland full of “Three Little Pigs”, a castle, queens, cottages, a pirate ship and more.
