Dear
,
ValleyPBS Viewer
This week, tune in for the premiere of a special documentary created by ValleyPBS to share the stories of the Valley's colorful past as seen through the eyes of renowned photographer Claude C. "Pop"
Laval.
Pop Laval captured life in the Valley from the early 20th century until the mid-1960s. His collection of more than 100,000 photos and films made the Valley one of the most documented regions in the
country. Thanks to articles Pop wrote for the Fresno Guide newspaper, his own words will also be used to bring the past to life throughout the show.
The show will also include live, in-studio breaks hosted by ValleyPBS CEO Paula Castadio and special guest Elizabeth Laval, the great-granddaughter of Pop Laval and the president of the Pop Laval
Foundation.
You won't want to miss this unique glimpse into our Valley's past. As Pop Saw It: Valley Stories as Photographed by Claude C. "Pop" Laval airs Monday night at 7, only on ValleyPBS.
Best Regards,
